The program requires a minimum 36-month commitment and at least 75 percent participation in demand response events. Our installers can help you identify qualifying chargers for this program.
Very affordable. On NV Energy standard rates of $0.14 per kWh, charging a full 75 kWh battery costs about $10.50. On the NV Energy time-of-use plan, off-peak overnight rates drop to $0.09 per kWh, bringing that same full charge down to around $6.75. Las Vegas also has very low solar costs which many EV owners pair with home charging to further reduce their electricity bills.
Summer heat in Las Vegas can reach 115 degrees Fahrenheit and above. This does not affect the charger installation itself but does matter for charger placement.
